Tadka Tandoori

The Curry Lamb (spice level 4) was rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced with the rice. The Gulab Jamun was a sweet, satisfying finish. The friendly staff made my first visit memorable. I'll definitely be back!

I had such a great experience here. I couldn’t decide what I wanted, and the owner was incredibly kind and patient. He actually let me sample a few dishes to help me choose. I ended up ordering the Thali combo with chicken curry and saag paneer, and he even gave me a little chana masala for free since I was torn between the two. Everything was packed with flavor and tasted so fresh. The garlic naan was perfect, the rice was delicious with the curries, and I also got to try their mango lassi which I highly recommend, it was amazing! The food is great, but the hospitality made the visit even better. I’ll definitely be back!

Such great Indian food for a great price! They had 20% off for ECU students too. Had their butter chicken, lamb Bryani and garlic naan and it was so delicious! Service was great too, very kind waiter.

First time dining at Tadka Tandoori for takeout- though the dining area was welcoming and tidy. The curry chicken and tikka masala with garlic naan were all delicious. The meal included a couple of gulab jamun and a single fried potato patty. I’m not sure what the potato patty is called, but it was very light and well spiced.

I came in and was greeted by a sweet man with a beard and blue hat. He was happy to help me make a decision for my curry choice. He even tailored the naan to my spice level which was so thoughtful. Initially, i was going to do take out but i felt so welcomed by the atmosphere i had to stay. As i was enjoying my food and gave me fresh naan and a free meat samosa with sauce!! he was amazing and this restaurant has definitely gained a new regular!! the prices are amazing too!!!

Tadka Tandoori is hands down one of the most student-friendly restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food is absolutely delicious, and the prices are unbelievably affordable—perfect for a student budget! I’ve rarely seen such a great combination of taste and value. Mr. Dev is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. The place is also very clean, and the service is excellent. Highly recommended for anyone looking for tasty food without burning a hole in their wallet!

Our little family shared one entree and got extra rice and naan for under $30. The SAAG chicken was great. The guys working were so sweet. Even when my baby got rice all over the floor I offered to sweep it up. He gave her a free mango dessert / smoothie. This is our second time going I would go back! Check it out :)
